Chúng ta ngày nay, sau 25 thế kỷ, hiểu biết, tri kiến, tri thức về Không, Vô thường, Hữu thể, Thể tính, Vô ngã, Pháp ấn có thể nhiều hơn rất nhiều, nhất là những điều có liên quan đến khoa học hơn Đức Thế Tôn. Nhưng nếu từ thuở ban sơ ấy không có Ngài Thái tử Siddartha , rồi là Gautama Buddha soi sáng Chánh Đạo, mở ra Con đường Cực Sáng đến Giác Ngộ, Giải thoát thì bây giờ có thể cũng vẫn còn như những tên Cùng tử, lang thang bao nẻo luân hồi, ăn mày Ánh Sáng, ăn mày Trí Tuệ vượt Không-thời-gian ấy, mà vẫn như người mù trong mười phương Mù-Ảo-Diễm, trong Ảo-Thực Bất minh.
Từ TÂM TUỆ— tức Trí Tuệ đến từ Tâm Lực Đại Hùng, Đại Nguyện, Đại Bi đó — chúng ta mới đươc dẫn đến Con đường Giác Ngộ, Giải Thoát mà chiêm nghiệm, học tập, ngộ Thiền, ngộ Giác, Sáng suốt, Minh triết ra.
Vì thế, làm sao không biết ơn Đức Phật Thích Ca Mâu Ni.

We, now 25 centuries later, have acquired massive knowledge of Void, Impermanence, beings, Being, Essences, No-self, Dharma seals— maybe a lot more than Buddha, especially knowledge of the sciences. But primordially, from that beginning aurora, if we had not had the Birth of Prince Siddartha, then Gautama Buddha, who shone/shines Great Light of the Path, opened the most Brilliant Way to Enlightenment and Final Liberation/Deliverance, we could have been, and maybe still are lost sons and daughters on our ways to find Enlightenment. Still the poor sons and daughters in this world of ill-illumined Real-Unreal world.
From this Magnificent Brilliance of His Heart and Mind, his Will and incredible Fight to arrive at the Ultimate Truth, we are shown the Way to Enlightenment and Final Liberation with the precision of the most rigorous sciences and fantastic meditative practices.
That is precisely the reason Buddhists (and maybe non-Buddhists) should thank Buddha for his Great Teachings.
