The Traitor and others
According to the men, interviewed here by RFA, and who have reliable information on the man who ordered the soldiers fighting against the invasion of the Chinese in the Johnson South Reef on 3/14/1988-- NOT TO FIRE AT THE ENEMIES-- is general Le Duc Anh, the Minister of Defense at the time. He was, originally, a plantation worker. Lying to his communist “supervisors”, Le Duc Anh entered the communist party, and “bought” his way into the favored treatment of former Politburo member Le Duc Tho – counterpart of H. Kissinger in the Paris Accord preparation in 1972. From then on, with the favors granted by Le Duc Tho, he climbed very fast in his military and political careers, and by 1988 was the Minister of Defense of Vietnam.
